In an update to a previous alert, the country's government has extended the suspension of all air passenger flights between the UK and Luxembourg from 00:00 (CET) on Sunday 20 December 2020 until 3 January 2021. NETHERLANDS: Country's government eases restrictions for UK passengers from 23 December 2020

In an update to a previous alert, the country's government has announced that as of 00.01 (CET) on Wednesday 23 December it will partially reverse a previous decision to suspend UK entry, and instead permit passengers from the UK with a negative COVID-19 test to travel to the Netherlands. The test must be no older than 72 hours and must be presented before travel. This requirement is applicable to passengers on airplanes and passenger ferries. Passengers may be asked to present their PCR test certificate to the authorities upon arrival in the Netherlands.

QATAR AIRWAYS: Country's government imposes restrictions for returning residents from the UK

KLM: Airline confirms that it will continue flights from South Africa to Amsterdam from 23 December 2020

The airline has confirmed that it will continue flights from South Africa to Amsterdam, following a previous announcement of a reduction in operations on the route from 13 December onwards. The Dutch Government also issued new regulations requiring all travellers from South Africa to present a valid, negative COVID-19 PCR test result obtained a maximum of 72 hours prior to arrival into the country.

ROYAL AIR MAROC: Airline to resume further UK routes from February 2021

The airline has announced that from 11 February, flights will be reinstated from London Gatwick to the country's hub of Marrakech four-times weekly; London Gatwick to Agadir will operate three-times weekly, and Manchester to Agadir twice a week. The flights will join other operations from Royal Air Maroc, which currently includes flights from London Heathrow into Casablanca three times weekly.

PAKISTAN: Country's government to increase restrictions for UK passengers from 23 December 2020

The country's government announced on 21 December that due to the COVID-19 situation, inbound travellers from the UK, or those who have been in the UK in the last 10 days, will not be able to enter Pakistan. This will apply for a seven day period from 00.01 (local time) on 23 December to 23.59 (local time) on 29 December. This decision will be reviewed on 28 December. Pakistani passport holders who travelled to the UK on visitor/temporary visas will be allowed to return to Pakistan with some additional arrangements on arrival.
